A note about our route

The map shows our route between overnight stops with intermediate places included either because we stopped there to look at things or to make the map software take the right route between overnight points. The dates make clear in which places we stayed the night.

We are also visiting other places when we stay in one location for several nights but these are not mapped, to avoid a big mess. The text and photos cover some of these places but not necessarily in the order of visiting.
